Billing & Insurance

Steers AAC Language & Speech is not in network with any insurance companies. We do provide superbills that families can independently submit to their insurance provider.

Families are invoiced for services on a monthly basis. Regardless of payment method, all families are required to have an updated credit card on file.

For families residing in California, payment via Self Determination Plan (SDP) funding is accepted.

  • No, Steers AAC is not in network with any insurance companies. We can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance as per your policy's guidelines.

  • Yes, we work with many families who utilize SDP funds to pay for communication, education, and materials creation (PODD Books, programming) services.

  • Yes, many of the families with whom we work very successfully access services through teletherapy.

  • Yes, we do travel to homes and/or schools as needed for consultation and collaboration. The therapist's hourly rate will be billed from office departure until return.

  • Yes. We have therapists licensed in California, Montana, Texas, and Florida.

  • No. Licensure restrictions prevent us from providing services to children who reside outside of locations where we currently hold licensure.

  • Yes, all of our therapists have, at minimum, attended a 2-Day Introduction to PODD Training.

  • Communication is for EVERYONE there are no prerequisites to being a communicator. We have worked with children with very significant needs who have, through tenacity, teamwork, and determination, learned to communicate using a robust language organization.
